ReviSync ("the Application", "we", "our", or "us") is a desktop application designed to assist members of the TruckersMP Game Moderation Team with video management and administrative workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application accesses, how it is used, how it is stored, and how it is protected.

By using ReviSync, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Access

Application Data

ReviSync stores user preferences, configuration settings, and application-related data locally on the user's device to provide application functionality.

Google Account and YouTube Data

When a user chooses to connect their Google Account through Google OAuth, ReviSync may access:

• The YouTube channel name associated with the authorized account

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens issued by Google

• Permissions required to upload videos to the user's YouTube channel

ReviSync only requests and accesses the minimum information necessary to provide its intended functionality.

ReviSync does not access, collect, or process Google account passwords.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Authenticating the user's connection to YouTube through Google OAuth

• Displaying the connected YouTube account name within the application

• Uploading videos to the user's authorized YouTube channel

• Managing user-initiated YouTube uploads

Google user data is not used for:

• Advertising

• Marketing

• User profiling

• Analytics unrelated to application functionality

• Data mining

• Artificial intelligence or machine learning model training

4. Data Storage

All application data, configuration settings, Google OAuth tokens, and related information are stored locally on the user's device.

ReviSync does not operate servers that collect, process, store, or retain Google user data.

No Google user data is uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to any ReviSync-owned server or database.

Any information displayed within application logs remains stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to ReviSync.

5. Data Sharing

ReviSync does not sell, rent, share, distribute, or disclose Google user data to any third party.

The only transfer of data occurs directly between the user's device and Google's services when:

• The user authorizes Google OAuth access

• The user uploads a video to YouTube

• The application communicates with Google APIs on behalf of the user

No Google user data is shared for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.

6. Security

ReviSync employs reasonable security measures to protect locally stored data from unauthorized access or modification.

These measures may include:

• Secure local storage of OAuth credentials

• Encrypted communications using HTTPS/TLS when communicating with Google services

• Limiting stored information to what is necessary for application functionality

Users remain responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, accounts, and operating environments.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Google OAuth tokens and related application data remain stored locally on the user's device until:

• The user disconnects their Google Account

• The user removes application data

• The user uninstalls the application

• The user revokes ReviSync's access through their Google Account settings

Because Google user data is stored locally and not on ReviSync servers, users may delete stored data at any time by:

• Removing application data from their device

• Uninstalling the application

• Revoking OAuth access through their Google Account security settings

ReviSync does not maintain copies of users' Google data on any remote server.

8. TruckersMP Information

ReviSync does not collect, store, or transmit TruckersMP account passwords or login credentials.

Where applicable, ReviSync relies on the user's existing authenticated browser session to access authorized TruckersMP functionality.

The Application does not attempt to obtain, store, or process TruckersMP login credentials.

9. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

ReviSync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information obtained from Google APIs is used solely to provide user-requested functionality within the application.

Google user data is not transferred, sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties except as necessary to perform actions explicitly requested by the user through Google's services.

10. Compliance with Third-Party Policies

Users must not use ReviSync in any manner that violates the terms, policies, or guidelines of any connected platform or service, including but not limited to Google, YouTube, and TruckersMP.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in application functionality, legal requirements, or security practices.

Any updates will be published on this page along with an updated revision date.
